This song is a perfect caricature of popular music. The meaningless lyrics about partying, the auto-tune, the makeup, the token rapper...
It's in the top 50 of most downloaded itunes songs. I think that's just because people are making fun of it, but the line between liking someone and making fun of someone is blurry these days. I think people forgot that the point of the jersey shore is to make fun of it, and I wouldn't be surprised if the same is true for The Real Housewives and one day, if she's lucky, Rebecca Black.
