Some thoughts on life

The Nintendo Nes is friggin awesome, almost cooler the second time around.

My top 10 favorite games right now:
1.Techmo Super Bowl
2.RBI Baseball
3.Zelda
4.Contra
5.Super Mario
6.Double Dribble
7.Double Dragon
8.Excitebike
9.Ice Hockey
10.Kung Fu

A bird bit me yesterday, it was the capper on a horrific day that included two separate subway trains breaking down, walking in the rain to work, getting jelly on my favorite shirt, and locking myself out of my apartment again.

My baby has really long arms and legs.
Oddly, I have gained 7 pounds since finding out I'm going to be a father.

Pants that zip off at the knee are the greatest invention ever, I'm thinking of taking it to the next level and making a shirt that zips off at the elbow.

I had a dream last night that all the cousins were at someone's wedding and we all got kicked out for being out-of-hand. Not that much of a stretch.

Michael Berg is my new favorite person:

Michael Berg, a pacifist who is running for Delaware's lone House seat on the Green Party ticket, said al-Zarqawi's death is likely to foster anti-American resentment among al-Qaida members who feel they have nothing left to lose.

Berg said the blame for most deaths in Iraq should be placed on President Bush, who he said is "more of a terrorist than Zarqawi."

"Zarqawi felt my son's breath on his hand as held the knife against his throat. Zarqawi had to look in his eyes when he did it," Berg added, pausing to collect himself. "George Bush sits there glassy-eyed in his office with pieces of paper and condemns people to death. That to me is a real terrorist."

On a lighter note, this is the 300th post on the cuzzin blog!!!! What do I win?

you gotta be fucking kidding me man. this pussy ass Berg blames his own nation for zarqawi (who NO ONE liked) slicing his son's throat. maniacs like that deserve to die, no matter how it gets done.

ZARQAWI KILLED HIS SON. not bush. self-guilt is for the timid.

terrorists are people that kill without rhyme or reason, in retaliation of nothing, and lack the courage to stand up and fight under the color of a nation. they do the exact opposite of what you do. they blame EVERYTHING on others, accept no blame as their own. they accept no responsibility for the conditions of their society. instead, you invert the equation. you blame yourself or your own leaders. you blame civilization--the civilization that grants you the luxury of posting on this blog.

terrorists not members of civilization. they are enemies of it. anti-civilization. any one of them would gladly walk into your favorite bar and detonate themselves. they would hate you as indiscriminately as you feel sympathy for them. they would not think twice about cutting your throat. and what would you do? instead of looking into the eyes of the man about to end your life, you would blame bush, whose only "terrorist" act has been to respond to acts of terrorism against civilians by eradicating the toxic soil from whence such terror came. give me a fucking break. if bush were a true terrorist, he would nuke the middle east and not even blink. that is what zarqawi would do to your city were he given the opportunity.

you only sleep soundly in your bed because rough men are prepared to do violence on your behalf. pacifism is an abdication of self. outside of your little wealth cocoon, the world is kill or be killed. before you diss Bush, ask yourself: am i benefitting from his policies? do you have any investments? do your oh-so-generous parents? where did they make their money? ALL LARGE MUTUAL FUNDS INVEST IN PETROLEUM FIRMS. HALLIBURTON. and mutual funds make money which allows your parents to live in security. you my friend are a direct beneficiary of the war in iraq. of america, god bless it. quit shitting where you sleep. quit with the delusions of principled grandeur. get your head straight.

Holy Wow! Where did that come from? Pacifism is an abdication of self!? It is!? Wealth cocoon? Who are these "rough men"? I don't even know where to begin with such an asinine statement and why would someone write with such angst and fervor while remaining anonymous?

PS-asinine comes from the latin asininus for like a donkey or like an ass.
