Clearly I love some movies that the cuzzins hate. But do I hate movies that the cuzzins love? Let’s see…
Some movies I really hate, off the top of my head:
Armageddon
Planet of the Apes (new version)
Cruel Intentions
Bridget Jones’ Diary
Patch Adams
Instinct
Roadhouse (not!)
Fracture
Fahrenheit 9/11
Anything involving Dane Cooke in any capacity whatsoever (ditto Matthew Lillard)
Nacho Libre
Fantastic Four
Some recent movies that I found really disappointing:
Apocalypto
Crash
Blood Diamond
Shrek
Super Troopers

I agree on:
Fracture
Planet of the Apes (horrible)
Apocalypto (ridiculous)
Blood Diamond (meh)
Instinct
Crash
Patch Adams
Disagree on:
Farenheit 9/11(strongly)
Nacho Libre (misunderstood movie)
Armageddon (only slightly)
Super Troopers (strongly)
Shrek
Can't believe you watched:
Bridget Jones Diary
Fantastic Four
Cruel Intentions (although I watched it too)
Recent Movies I liked:
Knocked Up
The Illusionist
An Inconvenient Truth
Talladega Nights
V for Vendetta
Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny
Recent Movies I hated:
1408 (just stupid)
Brooklyn Rules (disappointing)
The Good Shepard (boring)
The Science of Sleep (quit half way through)
The Celestine Prophecy (freakin awful)
Winter Passing (slow and retarded)
I snuck Bridget Jones onto his list, tee hee.
Agree:
Talladega Nights (super weird conversational(?) humor but very funny)
Knocked Up
Inconvenient Truth (much more about him than I thought it would be though)
Disagree:
V for on and on and on
Illusionist (I don't remember which this is but I didn't like either of those magician-centered period dramas that came out at the same time)
Farenheit 9/11 (I like the factoids and suspect many of them to be true, but how can he expect to be taken seriously when he formats his movie like a fucking campaign ad????)
Recent Goodies:
The Lives of Others (featuring a German Kevin Spacey)
The Fountain (but I can't recommend it around really)
Really want to see:
Superbad
Any other movie with George Michael in it
For those of you who are wes anderson fans (or adrien brody, jason schwartzman, or owen wilson) The Darjeeling Limited was a pretty awesome movie. Its a little artsy and slow at times but I give it an A-
I just went to see Into the Wild and it was great. Book was better, you should read it if you haven't, but the movie was done well. Giovanna cried a lot and by the end of it rated it the best movie she's ever seen
